Sorry for the late notice, but this is just a reminder that we have our FSNS Club meeting this Wednesday night, Nov 5, 7:30 PM, at the Shearwater Aviation Museum. We decided at our last meeting to hold regular club meetings on the first Wednesday night of every month.
I’m not sure what we have lined up for the night just yet, but in any case, I am sure it will be interesting. Allan has posted a question on our FSNS forums, asking a question about what type of topics would folks like to cover in flight sim training, but there hasn’t been any response to date. I know that last year, we all enjoyed the flight training and basic navigation. Personally, I’m interested in going further with that. Eventually, getting good enough to use VATSIM is where I’d like to be. I’m also interested in leaning about how to deal with radio communications, weather, and even soaring. Many years ago, a Canadian commercial airliner ran out of fuel, and the pilot had to rely on his glider experience to save the day.
Over the next couple of days, I will be starting an advertising campaign to promote Flight Sim Nova Scotia and perhaps we will have some growing interest.
See you at the FSNS meeting this Wednesday night.
